All of the full loin cuts are undeniably festive - perfect for a big crowd around the table and plenty of kitchen creativity. Throughout the year you can pick from whole bone-in loin, chop-ready, boneless and tied, or the elegant Crown Roast. The tenderloin (pictured) is the candy cut - we love it served with sweet potato gnocchi and broccoli rabe.
You have several options for acquisition, days before Christmas. If you pickup from one of our retail outlets. If you choose to pickup from one of our butcher shops you may pickup between December 20th and the 24th. If you prefer to pickup CSA style, which means collecting your meat on December 22nd at one of our drops in the Peninsula/S-bay, San Francisco, or SF Farmers Market, you may select this option upon purchasing as well. We will have a pick-up in Marin at the Sunday farmers market on December 23rd.
No animals are ever given artificial growth hormones or stimulants and are guaranteed to be free of antibiotics. Marin Sun Farms guarantees that all ruminant livestock are 100% grass-fed and pasture raised their entire lives, with no consumption of grain, by-product supplements, or ever setting hoof within a confinement feedlot. Non-ruminant, mono gastric, omnivorous chickens are pasture raised and allowed to choose their diet from the pasture and supplemental grains.
